The first item is a DVD of Arise, Serpentor, Arise which came along with the item you see to your left. It isn't any of the figures, it's just the DVD that came along with it. Any G.I. Joe fan will love this, perhaps even remember it from their youth.
I sure did.
The second is Power Man and Iron First #123. Written in 1986, it speaks to the problem reverse racism. Obviously this problem was prevalent then and it hasn't gone away.

Merry Christmas, God Bless, Be Safe, Warm And In The Company Of Those You Love
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Another Reason I Hate Living In Massachusetts
A little old lady who lives in Lynn Lynn the City Of Sin, MA likes to sit at a pond and feed ducks. She moved there when her mother committed suicide in 1966.
She's 80 now. Lonely and the town is up against her, it seems. This is, Massachusetts, after all...there can be no fun had. (See previous post)
Says Claire Butcher, set to face a judge on January 13 who will decide if she'll be jailed for violating a "No Feeding The Wildlife" city ordinance.
However, according to lawyer Vincent Phelan:
Attorney Phelan who works for the Lynn City Council can be reached here and here.

Says Claire Butcher, set to face a judge on January 13 who will decide if she'll be jailed for violating a "No Feeding The Wildlife" city ordinance.
"When I first moved here in 1966,” she recalled, “no one would complain. Now we have these new people moving onto the pond who don’t like it. They want to control the pond. I can’t understand it.”
“I turned to the animals to console me,” she says. “And they do.”But here in The Commonwealth, that can't be. What if a child were to walk by and had wanted to feed a particular duck, but that duck chose Claire's bread crumb instead? That could lead to hurt feelings, discrimination lawsuits etc.
“They are the reason I get up in the morning,” she continued as the ducks surround her. “ They get me out of bed. I know they are waiting for me.”
However, according to lawyer Vincent Phelan:
“She’s making a mess out there, the neighbors have been complaining for years.”Counters Butcher:
Phelan says duck poop is “making it impossible for people to enjoy” the park.
“Their love is unconditional,” she says. “They fill that emptiness in life.”
“Maybe,” she says, “if we had more love in the world, it would be a better world to live in.”
“Of course I am afraid,” she says. "I don’t think I would do too well in jail.”
Still, she says she's more afraid of life without her birds.

Or, as I call it, Kookachoosetts.
In Newton, by far the dumbest town in The Commonwealth we have this little nugget, reminding us how we ended up with a Generation of Gimmie Gimmies standing on the streets of America demanding someone pay their bills for them.
This is why this generation fails in the real world. When Mom and Dad no longer pay and they have to make it on their own, look back at things like this and you'll remember why:
From MyFoxBoston.com:
Newton schools are asking parents to have their kids leave so-called "celebratory" clothing at home.
They’re talking about accessories or clothes given out at a birthday parties or other celebrations that kids then wear to class on Monday.
School officials say this is becoming a trend at Oak Hill and other Newton middle schools.
They say it leads to other kids feeling excluded and reminded they were not included in the festivities. The school is urging to have their kids avoid wearing such items and even have a conversation with their kids about how wearing this kind of thing makes kids feel left out. Here is a copy of the letter:

What's particularly frightening is that most of the Newton parents see nothing wrong with this in any way. After all, these are the idiots that built a $200 million high school.

Student Attire - Weekend CelebrationsSo Newton MA is trying to put a ban on kids feeling bad. As yourself this: What would your father have done or said to you had you come home from school one day and said, "Dad, some of the other kids went to a birthday party this weekend. They all made shirts and I don't have one because I wasn't invited. When I walked past them in the hall I felt sorry for myself and was sad".
Dear Oak Hill Families,
At Oak Hill and other Newton Middle Schools, we are experiencing a trend that has resulted in some students sharing with me that they feel excluded. I am writing to you to share an experience that some students have shared with me.
On many Monday mornings, students stream into the building, and other students begin to notice that they are not among a particular group. There is a group (or groups) of students who are wearing the same colorful article of clothing - a t-shirt, sweatshirt, sweatpants or leggings. Upon closer inspection, you can see the name of a student clearly labeled on the clothing honoring a celebration that took place over the weekend. While the students wearing the labeled clothing are all chatting excitedly about their weekend experiences, the students who aren't wearing the clothing tend to walk by, trying not to take notice while being reminded that they were not included in the festivities.
As educators we are concerned about the unintentional messages that are conveyed when groups of students wear the same celebratory clothing from weekend events. In order to reinforce practices that promote inclusion and community, we respectfully ask that:
* Your children refrain from wearing clothing to school that identifies a weekend celebration marked with a student name.
* We encourage you to have a conversation with your child about this trend and how it may make others feel who may have been excluded from participating in the event. Explore the idea of being inclusive and how one can resist the urge to wear the clothing right after the celebration as it make students who aren't included feel left out.
This will assist us in fostering a whole community spirit focused on education at Oak Hill. We appreciate your understanding and sensitivity to this issue. If you have questions or comments, please address these to the School Council...
Thank you,
Oak Hill School Council Members
What's particularly frightening is that most of the Newton parents see nothing wrong with this in any way. After all, these are the idiots that built a $200 million high school.
Your Pull List for December 21, 2011
My pull list went from about $20-$30 a week to somewhere around $50. I had to make some hard decisions to drop a few titles...but I managed. I'm not going to name which titles I dropped, because I want them to succeed, and hopefully come out in trade format...but here's what I'm still getting.
If this book splits off into 16 different titles, Alpha, Omega, Potato, Potahto...I'm dropping it like a bad habit, which is EXACTLY what this type of behavior from Marvel is.

Every now and then I look through Google's spam folder to see what hilarity resides inside.
Along with the normal penis enlargement, random Spanish emails, super fantastic deals from stores I've never heard of and quite a few regular old "Someone has been trying to reach you" alongside a picture of some really hot chic and the billions of "There has been a reply to a topic you started for all the board administrators out there that keep that option on by default when all I did was log in to ask a single question two years ago...
This morning I found this one:
Whenever I find a particularly offensive one, or one that is obviously trying to prey upon the elderly, I simply forward it off to the FBI at spam@uce.gov, per their instructions. Very easy.

Kevin Smith Disses Robert Kirkman?
I will grind anything I make into dust. |
Even he knew Green Hornet would suck, as did the movie, because every issue has about 20 different variant covers. That is some hack bullshit right there.
Anything movie the guy makes he wants to write a comic about it too, so he can double dip on the profits from 16 year old stoners.
Anyway, I'm currently reading a real comic called Preacher by Garth Ennis. It's widely regarded as one of the best graphic novels of all time. Notice nothing from Kevin Smith is anywhere on any of those lists...he's a comic fan that got an in because he's a celebrity, and we all know how the comic world loves their moonbat Hollywoodland folk.
But that isn't the point, the point is Kevin Smith's foreword in the second Preacher trade paperback.
Here's the part that really made me LOL:
"Controversial," as we all know, is often a euphemism for "interesting and intelligent." Although the pages of PREACHER are filled with avant garde takes on the nature of God and the questionable manner in which religion is followed by the masses without thought (not to mention renderings of brutal bloodletting and graphic, often disturbingly funny violence), this is not a book full of sensationalistic crap writing or drawing. To me, sensationalistic crap writing is lopping off the hand of a time-honored character to give him a "new direction," and sensationalistic crap drawing is page after page of uber-nimrods penned with little regard for proper proportions, set against background deficient splash pages.Time out for full disclosure:
- I'm Catholic.
- Last time I was in church I got married.
- I'm not particularly religious in any way.
- I don't care what religion anyone is, as long as their religion doesn't justify strapping bombs onto handicapped people and wheeling them down a ramp into a crowd of people.
- Preacher is very critical of religion, and the religion used in the book is Christianity.
- I was not offended, the book is awesome.
Of course, insulting Christians is always OK. You'll never see the beautiful people get all up in arms for the constant attacks on Christians in this country. Muslims, Buddhists, Hunduk etc. (Again, I'm not particularly religious, just sticking up for those that might be).
Then he uses the term "avant garde". People that say avant garde should be double punched in the colon. Hard.
This should be on the cover of every Kevin Smith comic. |
Robert Kirkman vs Kevin Smith is like me vs Carl Lewis. I'm lucky if I can run to the bathroom. Kevin Smith is lucky if he can put a coherent story line together for 22 pages.
In closing, I'll use Smith's own words to insult him...
The last time I said something nice about PREACHER, the good folks who compile the trade paperbacks at DC pulled a quote from my gushing praise of the parties involved in bringing this fierce new book to life, and they printed it on the cover - along the top and above the title....the pull quote was "More fun than going to the movies!," complete with my name and then-filmography printed underneath (Clerks, Mallrats)...And - as with all easy targets - some zero took perhaps the easiest shot in the world at me. Hiding within a then-current issue of The Comics Journal, at the bottom of the 'Viva la Comics!' section, was my quote and credits - over which was the oh-so-damn-witty headline "Well, maybe one of yours..."I agree with the person Smith deems a "zero" (there's that moonbat elitism again, they just can't help themselves can they?) Kevin Smith and his movies suck.
Korn Sucks (Are They Still Even Around?)
This Is A Dork |
I can't be arsed seeing if that whiney, Daddy-issue shit band is still putting out "albums". But I used to date a girl that loved Korn. I remember she used to play some album that had a song on it that sounded so damn familiar I had to call them out, but she refused to see it.
The reason this comes up now, is because a song called "Too Many Puppies" from Primus on the album Frizzle Fry (awesome) just came up in Winamp. I set it to shuffle my entire collection all day and that song just came on...great tune.
So it reminded me of that old Korn song and how I thought it was a rip off. I decided to do some Googling/Youtubing.
Here's the intro to Primus' "Too Many Puppies":
Here's Korn's "Blind":
Ain't that some bullshit? That's a complete intripoff. I just made up that word.
People Need To Know How To Use Their Scanners Correctly

If you're using any kind of photo editing software to scan music album covers, comic book covers, comic pages etc onto the internet for databases like Encyclopaedia Metallum or comicbookdb.com, there is a very simple step you need to learn.
99% of the album covers out there suck. They suck because of a thing called "Noise Reduction" and people not knowing how to use it. (I guess that's what happens when most kids steal Photoshop and think that makes them an arteest, but it wouldn't hurt to actually read a tutorial or two.
I'm going to show you an example of the difference NR makes when making hi-res scans of album covers.
Let's pretend you have no musical taste and you're looking for the cover to Nicki Minaj's new album Pink Friday, go away. I'm going to use the Talking Heads album cover Speaking In Tongues, because I do have taste. While not my favorite band, the album cover is perfect to show you what I'm talking about.
Here is the album scanned by someone with no clue:

Click on them, yes one is bigger than the other and one is darker...but that isn't the point. When you click on it and see the larger images...take note of those ugly ass squares and dots all over the album cover. That means someone used their hi-res scanner and didin't do any touching up.
Now look at an album cover that was scanned by someone that used NR:
Notice all those ugly squares are gone?
Depending upon what resolution you scanned the image at, will depend on how much noise reduction you use. To use Noise Reduction, go to the "filter" menu and select "noise" then "median". Enter a value of 1 if you scanned an image to a smaller resolution...and enter a value of 2 if it's very high res.
You'll see a huge difference, and your stuff won't suck on the internet.
Here's another example that is even more obvious:
Can you figure out which Photoshop user used Noise Reduction?
My Pull List for December 14, 2011
Uhm, yes please. With more awesome. And some badass on the side please. More. Thank you. More. Christos Gage is a genius. There hasn't been a single bad issue in his entire run. In fact, I have never, ever read anything by Gage that wasn't good.
I don't give a shit what you say. I am so happy Cable's back. The device by which they use to bring him back is irrelevant. Cable is a badass and his most recent series was incredible.
Uh, OK...I guess. Might as well, right? Whatever. Hurry up and finish (and payoff) so I can stop feeling like a sucker.
My LCS claims I'm like 1 of the 3 people buying this book. Too bad, I don't take myself so seriously that I can't enjoy some gore and Baysplosions every now and then...and I don't need to read Crossed to get it. I'm all set with women eating their own fetuses out of their stomachs...sorry fanboys, I'm not as cultured as you.
This book is a fuggin hoot!
Chugga chugga chugga chugga CHOO CHOO
You hate comics if you're not reading Ben McCool's book:
The first comic, and I'm talking issue number 1, to literally give me chills.
Whatever, I probably should have dropped this and picked up Carnage. But I like a book that doesn't make US military look like assholes like most comic book writers out there tend to do, since most want to be in Hollywood with the rest of the kooks. So I'll support it. Don't get me wrong, it's a good story, just not breathtaking.
The second incredible arc of this incredible book comes to its incredible close. This book is incredibly incredible.

Obama And Belonsky, no? |
Nasty moonbat Andrew Belonsky has opened his big mouth again to claim that Obama is doing a fully convincing job in the war on terror, which I'm afraid is just exaggerated at best: Republican presidential candidates shifted their focus from domestic affairs to foreign policy during the Republican Jewish Forum yesterday. by: *Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny* Newt Gingrich is, to put it bluntly not the presidential candidate the republican party needs. Aside from carrying to much baggage like his three marriages, extramarital affairs, his well paid "historian" role consulting with Freddie Mac, his flip flops on healthcare mandates and climate change, and his delusions of grandeur, he is not a leader than individuals like to follow. In fact he is a rather divisive figure. When he was Speaker of the House, before his colleagues replaced him for his ineptitude, his lack of princi... more »

Hello, America? Is it safe to come out? |
My next son has a due date of Jan 27. Officially Obummer will no longer be president by 7 days.
Then I'll be able to tell him he just barely made it past the four worst years in American history.
Of course, he'll be obligated, even 20 years from now, to clean up the big fucking mess the fool made. But at the very least he wasn't brought into this world with that soft-touch jackass at the helm.
Hello There!
Fuckin' hell. Where to begin? They say that beginnings are the toughest part of any project. Journey of a thousand miles and all that. Just a disclaimer; I am terrible at keeping up with this type of stuff. Hell I have my own blog that I haven't posted anything to in well over a year! Be that as it may I want you to know that Comicsnut asked me to post a guest blog like three weeks ago and I am just now getting around to do it, because…. well I guess it's because 1: I am procrastinator and 2: I have been horrendously bogged down in school work.
Right. So I suppose an introduction is in order. I go by the handle @DeathMetalHero on Twitter ( and any other social media site that some idiot d-bag hasn't already taken my name on. Rest assured I am the one and only.) but you can call me Kronos (Take whatever implications from greek mythology you will from that.) I am a Comic Book connoisseur, a Video Game Virtuoso, and a Death Metal Maniac.
I learned how to read from comics at the age of 3 and have had a life long passion for them ever since. I am a MARVEL ZOMBIE pure and simple. Sure had some Batman comics as well growing up , but I always found Superman and the rest of the DCU VERY boring. (Still do as a matter of fact. HA!) I was always reading Spider-Man, X-Men, and Fantastic Four so I never really cared what the JLA, the Flash, or any other DC charters were doing, and after discovering Ghost Rider and the Punisher it was all over for DC. I guess it's just the way I'm wired, and not much has changed since then. Granted I do read other things (Image, Darkhorse, and Sirius stuff) but the 616 Marvel U is where I have spent most of my time reading comics.
I picked up my first video game at about 4; Super Mario Bros./ Duck Hunt on the NES. And actually I had played plenty of games on my cousins Atari 2600 prior to that (most notably the original pitfall) but SMB/DH on the NES was the first game and system that was actually MINE. I enjoyed the hell outta that game, but didn't really love video game until I got my copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES. Yeah I know, "What a horribly hard game for a kid to play!" You're damn right it was hard. So hard in fact that sometimes I would just sit and look at the cover for a while dreaming of the coolness that I was missing out on, until I would finally pop the cartage in and have another go. To this day I don't think I've ever finished that damn game! Didn't matter though, I was hooked on video games from there on out. In fact Currently rockin' a 320gb PS3 and slowly working my way through Uncharted 3 (Slowly because I never really get the chance to play.)
I grew up in a house where Classic rock and hair metal (Yeah I know. I can hear you all groaning now!) was pretty much always on tap. So as I grew up I would try to find other good rock and roll bands but always ended up listening to the classics. Except for Nirvana I don't listen to any of the other "rock" that I used to listen to. I actually find what passes for "rock and roll" these days a repugnant, idiotic, mundane imitation of what it used to be, but that's a topic for a future blog. I was in my sophomore year of high school and a coworker brought in Fear Factory's OBSOLETE to listen to after closing. Sure it may not be the heaviest album by my standards now, but I was instantly enthralled by the crunchiness of the guitars, the deep boom of the drums, and Burton Bell's vocals. My taste in music quickly changed after that and I was on the look out for anything that was even remotely like that album. And thus my love of metal was born, and has gotten progressively heavier ever since to the point where some of my favorite bands are Fleshgod Apocalypse, Cannibal Corpse, and Beneath the Massacre.
Well i hope you've enjoyed my first post to Comic Nut's Jar, and if you didn't then I'm sorry you were bored but you did make it to the end so good on you.

VERY small week for me this week, which is kinda good considering last week was about $60 and I still haven't caught up! :)
But we all know I'll use the extra money to buy a few more titles that I passed on last week!
But we all know I'll use the extra money to buy a few more titles that I passed on last week!
God I love Jonah Hex. I love Jjimmy Palmiotti (@jpalmiotti) and Justin Gray. I loved every single 70 issues of the previous Hex series. And I absolutely love this book. Hex and Arkham working together...can you get anymore anti-hero than that? People, read this book...there's no boobs, no bulging crotches, no missiles shot out of people's ears, no aliens...just good old fashioned story telling. You will not be disappointed.
This has been a great little arc, with a few minor complaints. Hawkeye's one of my favorite characters, I know he's always been a little cocky...but I think The Master Hickman is really giving Clint a big head. Other than that, it's an awesome story tying in very well to Ultimate Ultimates.
Wolverine is in 1,000,000,000 places at the same time. I'm reading this, and I started reading his main title again hoping it would tie in. I'm not reading Scott Summer's version of Regensis because I hate Scott Summers...I'm hoping this works out.
A Sad Day In My Corporate World

Last week, the corporate big wigs got the go-ahead from our landlord to put a new roof on our 750,000 square foot building and permission to move their offices from the back of the building to the front, near the windows.
There currently exist workers in small cubes near those windows. They will be moved, cubes added to the area that corporate sits now and a new wing of beautiful offices will be built in that area, closed off from having to look at the cube dwellers, but with views of the parking lot.
That's fine, it's good to be the kings.
However, there's one department consisting of two people I, and most others, happen to hold in high regard. Let's call that department "Baccoutns Flayable". Corporate decided that, because their cubes were in the way of their new real estate, to move the department. Still fine. Until it was decided they were going to move the department to one of our west coast offices in a state we'll call "Dralifornia".
One of the women that worked in Baccounts Flayable has been working here for over 25 years, the other woman for over 30. She's a delight to work with. She's one of those rare users us IT people love. She knows nothing about computers (we don't like them) but she is the sweetest person to walk the earth, and wouldn't say a bad thing about anyone and always has a smile (we like that when you talk to us and say hi).
So, because they were moving Baccounts Flayable to Dralifornia, the woman that had been working here for 25 years plus was brought into her manager's office and given her walking papers. But not before her manager made her friend call the people from Dralifornia and train them for two days on how everything is done.
Anyway, everyone helped clear her cube and helped carry her stuff to her car, hugs were exchanged and promises to keep in touch were made.
She was fine with it, she said. All smiles. She drove away and someone noticed she stopped her car up a little ways. They walked up to her car and she was in tears.
I'd like to wish our corporate members a happy Thanksgiving.

Most Americans Call Newt Gingrich's Comments Regarding Occupy Wall Street As The Truth
This is the quote of the galaxillenium. Newt Gingrinch put into words what nearly everyone (except those that get chills up their legs when they think about Obama) is thinking about #OWS
Of course, google Newt's name today and you would think he was speaking while wearing a KKK uniform, holding up a sign that said kill all Mexicans. The media can't believe someone, other than talk radio hosts all over the country, would say something like that about Obama's class warfare foot-soldiers.
Obama needs these loons, even though he and Wall Street are one in the same, to keep up their "non violent movement". So he can draw comparisons to the TEA Party, call it grassroots and stuff like that. But most importantly, get them to go absolutely fucking sideways and riot when he says the secret code word three times.
Anyway, today, Newt you are the man.

Let me take that for a brief moment to describe Occupy Wall Street. All of the Occupy movement starts with the premise that we all owe them everything. They take over a public park they didn’t pay for, to go near by to use bathrooms they didn’t pay for, to beg for food from places they don’t want to pay for, to obstruct those that are going to work to pay the taxes to sustain the bathrooms and to sustain the park so that they can self-righteously explain that they are the paragons of virtue to which we owe everything.
Now, that is a pretty good symptom of how much the left has collapsed as a moral system in this country and why you need to reassert something as simple as saying to them, "Go get a job right after you take a bath."

-Update-The google blog poll is weird now, just comment yes or no. Prove I'm not just talking to myself.
I used to post a few pictures of women I happened to find very attractive. It was anexploitative beautiful tribute to both young and MILF matured women in various states of undress womanhood.
You may see these little snippets every now and then under a post in the area that says "You might also like:"
Should I bring these back? I took them down once, when I was going to interview someone in the industry that didn't think the adult content would go over well with people he was trying to get in the business with. It made total sense, I wanted him to succeed and I didn't want to be a hindrance to him.
So, what so you...shall I bring back SNK?

Copying and pasting is a pain in the ass. Open two Windows Explorer instances, navigate to each folder, grab a bunch of files and drag and drop them across into the other window. That sucks, but it sucks even more if all you're doing is moving one single small file. Yeah, you could just press cut, then paste...but that's still a bunch of unnecessary mouse clicks.
How about simply highlighting the file or files you want to move, right clicking on them and selecting either "Copy To" or "Move To", then just using the menu system to find the folder, click ok and be all done? It's about a tenth of the time and I don't know how I lived without it:
First, press start, go to Run, type "Regedit". Back up your registry by going to "File > Export". Save it somewhere in case something goes wrong (it shouldn't, these are pretty simple) and then click these two files to add them to your menu:
Copy To
Move To
Like I said, this make moving files around so much easier, I don't know how I lived before having these options. Now that you've added them, simply go to a directory like "My Documents" or something and right click a file. You'll notice the two extra options there for you. You love me, it's ok.

I didn't just say that @DeathMetalHero would write here so you'd think there'd be some variety on this horrid blog and come back more often (instead of just looking for boobs)...
He really does exist, and he really said he wanted to post here...I SWEAR TO GOD!
Watch...he'll show up soon enough...I promise.

In Case You Didn't Feel Shit Upon Enough Friday
Another bit of news I refused to discuss on Veteran's Day was this.
The decline of our culture and values is clear to anyone that doesn't own a "Coexist" bumper sticker, you know...the typical elite university liberal student. It's obvious what they're teaching these kids. It isn't how to survive in the real world, or you know speak coherently, as we can see those people at any given Occupy "protest". They're teaching them how to hate.
They beg us to coexist with those that hate us, yet they themselves refuse to coexist with Christians, Middle Americans or those that aren't in their Ivory Towers looking down at us. It's clear what the desired end result is, the inner destruction of America at its core.
Anyway, enough rambling and disgusting students...
So make sure your calendar has the holidays of every fucking country in the world. You don't want to find yourself on the dirty end of a lawsuit if you happen to wear a shirt with a flag on it and it's some other country's holiday.

I Refused To Post This On Veteran's Day
There's a real nutty college professor ranting about America and war. I know that's shocking, as most colleges these days are perfect places for all points of view, not just the radical liberal view where everything else is shouted down.
But Professor Michael Avery took it up a notch. You see, the school sent out an email asking if anyone would like to contribute to care packages for troops over-seas. [story] Simply asking...that's the opposite of, like, when a Union tells you who to vote for. This nutbar went completely sideways. How dare he be asked if he wanted to contribute something to...well, you'll see who he thinks the military really is:
So, he just called our servicemen and women "killers". On Veteran's Day.
Apparently he doesn't understand that we are also the most aid prone country in the history of civilization, but that wouldn't fit his argument. We've spent billions of dollars in unnecessary foreign aid to countries that kill us on a daily basis. Perhaps he likes to see us dying. Maybe that makes him happy.
Asking if anyone was interested in contributing is a neutral act. When your union tells you who to vote for, that isn't a politically neutral act. Get it together.
How much money has he sent to "Americans losing their homes"? This is typical bleeding heart garbage..."How can we have a flag when poor people exist in the world?" Till then I had never heard a more inadequate comparison.
Anyway, I refused to give this guy the satisfaction of posting about this on Veteran's Day, the day he purposely chose to spew his hate. But now, it's no longer Veteran's Day.
Michael Graham talked about this loon yesterday and invited people to email him at his publicly available email address:
mavery@suffolk.edu
Or call and leave a voice message:
617-573-8551
You can also pass out his vcard to anyone you know that might be interested:
http://www.law.suffolk.edu/faculty/directories/vcf/Michael_Avery.vcf
As you can see, Graham's call to arms was well received...even I sent a few email messages as well. On behalf of my dad and two grandfathers as well. I also sent one on behalf of my wife's cousin who died in Afghanistan.
I urge you all to do the same.

How dare he be asked if he wanted to contribute something to...well, you'll see who he thinks the military really is:
I think it is shameful that it is perceived as legitimate to solicit in an academic institution for support for men and women who have gone overseas to kill other human beings.
So, he just called our servicemen and women "killers". On Veteran's Day.
I understand that there is a residual sympathy for service members, perhaps engendered by support for troops in World War II, or perhaps from when there was a draft and people with few resources to resist were involuntarily sent to battle. That sympathy is not particularly rational in today’s world, however. That's the thought process of a person who has never been in "today's world". The world he's talking about are gated communities fenced by six figure tuitions and a tacit environment for liberals. This man knows nothing of "today's world".
The United States may well be the most war prone country in the history of civilization. We have been at war two years out of three since the Cold War ended. We have 700 overseas military bases. What other country has any? In the last ten years we have squandered hundreds of billions of dollars in unnecessary foreign invasions. Those are dollars that could have been used for people who are losing their homes due to the economic collapse, for education, to repair our infrastructure, or for any of a thousand better purposes than making war. And of course those hundreds of billions of dollars have gone for death and destruction.
We need to be more mindful of what message we are sending as a school. Since Sept. 11 we have had perhaps the largest flag in New England hanging in our atrium. This is not a politically neutral act. Excessive patriotic zeal is a hallmark of national security states. It permits, indeed encourages, excesses in the name of national security, as we saw during the Bush administration, and which continue during the Obama administration.
Asking if anyone was interested in contributing is a neutral act. When your union tells you who to vote for, that isn't a politically neutral act. Get it together.
Why do we continue to have this oversized flag in our lobby? Why are we sending support to the military instead of Americans who are losing their homes, malnourished, unable to get necessary medical care, and suffering from other consequences of poverty? As a university community, we should debate these questions, not remain on automatic pilot in support of the war agenda.
How much money has he sent to "Americans losing their homes"? This is typical bleeding heart garbage..."How can we have a flag when poor people exist in the world?" Till then I had never heard a more inadequate comparison.

Do You People Do This Shit On Purpose?
I'm not one of those drive-all-the-way-around-a-parking-lot-to-find-a-close-spot-to-save-40-feet-of-walking people. People that do that are dumb.
I pull into a large parking lot and park in the first spot I see, no matter how far it is. 100% of the time I get into the store before the douchle (love that word) that drove in a circle three times until the third space from the front door opened up.
That's not my point though. Do what you want, drive in circles like a mini-mall Nascar driver, I don't care. You look dumb, people point and laugh and you're blissfully ignorant about it because you think you're being efficient. You're really just a lazy moron with zero foresight.
My point this: Do NOT park next to me. When I park all the way in the back, with no one around me there's a message being said there. Look around, you'll see a ton of other spots in which to put your stupid car. Plus, I know you did that just to be an asshole.
So, that being said, if you do park next to me, and squeeze me in on top of it, say goodbye to your sideview mirror, and say hello to a few new dents on your door.
You've been warned.
Asshole.
New Writer On Board
In an effort to make this blog a little more coherent, readable and not suck because it's only me...I've extended an invitation to a few Tweeps I think are some of the best of the best.
The first to take this invitation is Kronos D. Smith. I'll let him divulge any of his twitter id, or other personal stuff as he wishes. But for now, all you need to know is that he knows more about music in the toe next to his little one than I do in my thumbs, big toes, collar bone and my navicular bone combined. That's like, a lot, right?
So, when he's ready he's gonna make his grand entrance and make your face melt...or not...that's really his decision.
So, please take a moment and welcome him aboard when he posts and say hello to let him know you're out there!
Thanks!

My Pull List for November 02, 2011
I really hope the art improves in Animal Man. The story is great but the art is flat as a pancake.
Probably the only Avengers title selling right now. Brian Michael Bendis destroyed the Avengers. Thanks for that.
The only thing Bendis good at anymore.
Maybe it's just me, but the art needs to improve here as well. Half the time I can't even tell wtf is going on. Enough with the fancy bleedouts and frames, please. Otherwise, great book.
Hotties
I apologize to all the intelligent, beautiful, conservative women out there that may be reading this....
But you're not liberals, you allow a red blooded man to be a red blooded man (especially if his wife is who is 6.5 months pregnant, thinks he's one of the four Apocalypse horsemen. I'm..."in need".
A while back, I noticed some people came a knockin looking for a specific woman named Madison Welch. Can't say that I blame them. and I'm going to have to agree with them, and supply them with their wish.
After the jump, there's a handful of the blonde Madison Welch. d Do not click it unless you are over 18 in the US. Some are Madison. Madison is hot. However, I'm more a Sammie Pennington girl, see bottom (pun intended)....
Again, some of the most beautiful natural 32Fs on a brunette appear after the jump. Those easily offended, don't like pretty girls or are under 18, don not click "more".
If you're a conservative women and would like to comment on my taste in Miss Pennington, I welcome your thoughts, because that's hot. :)
If you're a conservative woman and I've offended you, I'm sorry...ya just gotta let me be me! I love you guys!!
