Olvia Wilde Is Stupid. Here's Proof.

After the bombing massacre in Boston, celebrities took to Twitter like flies take to a fresh shit pile.

From using the deaths as a way to push their agenda on who "real terrorists" are to gay marriage.

I've compiled a list of some of the stupid tweets I've seen lately and thanks to the wonder of Twitter's embed function, you can reply right back to them if you so desire.

Known for being pretty (that's reason enough to spout your righteous indignation to the world) and the teen comedy drama, The O.C. which deals with the struggles of inner city youth and the day to day violence they face.

So Guantanamo Bay is what makes terrorists!? I thought Gitmo was to house terrorists that may have already committed crimes. I realize the American prison system makes a criminal a better criminal so much that some dub it "Crook School", but I'm not so sure about Gitmo.

Plus, didn't Obama say he was going to close Gitmo? If so, by extension does the Hollywood President thereby create terrorists as well?

In my search of The Constitution where it states "you are allowed to be violent with guns" I wasn't able to come up with anything.  The only thing I was able to come up with that even resembles this remark was in The Bill of Rights, not The Constitution.  I'm sure these two pieces of paper mean nothing to the lovely Olivia or "Joe".  Here's the portion of The Bill Of Rights I'm talking about:

Amendment II
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Tweetdeck Not Using Firefox

As a heavy Twitter user and Firefox zealot I was always annoyed at how TweetDeck used IE instead of my preferred browser to open links.

I'm using 64bit Windows 7 but it should shouldn't make a difference, leave a comment if you run into difficulties and I'll help you out.

Anyway, I did a little digging to make that behavior stop.  If you use an alternative browser follow these steps to make sure Tweetdeck uses it, too.

Very simply, go to Start and press "Default Programs".  In the dialog box that opens up:

Select "Set program access and computer defaults".

When that opens you'll see the following dialog box:

Press the two little arrows on the right of "Custom" to expand it.  The first option should be for your browser:

Makes sure all those "Enables..." are checked off and choose your default browser.

Press OK all the way out until all are closed.

Tweetdeck should then use Firefox as your default browser.

Twitter, Chris Loesch & Why Liberals Hate Free Speech

Just as with @FreeMarket_US last week, Twitter has suspended the account of conservative Chis Loesch. Chis is the husband of talk radio host and CNN contributor Dana Loesch and is very active on Twitter. Once again, Twitter’s reasons for suspending Chris’s account are not clear. (Twitchy)

Apparently, Dana Loesch @DLoesch has an opinion that liberals don't like and it married to Chris Loesch.  When the above puke-tweet went out, Chris defended his wife.  Liberals didn't like that and organized a massive group to flag all his posts as spam. They have a history of doing this.  Twitter then suspended his account.

Check out some of these idiot liberals bragging about what they've done.

You see, in Twitter you have the ability to "flag" a tweet as spam.  Most rational, normal contributing members of society do this when they get...uhm...spammed...not when they see an opinion with which they disagree.  So, the above post is perfectly acceptable, yet being conservative...not so much.

Twitter wised up and reinstated his account after #FreeChrisLoesch started trending worldwide.

Unfortunately, #FreeChrisLoeschAgain began trending worldwide at 12:36am this morning (not even one hour after progressive liberals stifled free speech) after Dana tweeted that Chris had been targeted and suspended again!!

All is not lost, except for all of Chris' followers.  According to Dana, Chris is working with the Twitter engineers to make this stop. Hopefully Twitter examines closely their algorithms that allow something like this to happen.

The lesson here cannot be any clearer: The enemy is among us. Liberals are going to lose their man in November, they have been exposed as the hate filled hive-minded mob they are, they've lost their placid media and they can do nothing other than stop pretending to be hate filled and simply be open about it.

They are disgusting and stand against everything that makes this country great. Liberals are a clear and present danger to everything you may hold dear...especially your speech. Your speech has exposed them.

They are losing.

And they are losing without an ounce of dignity.

Peculiar Tweetdeck Memory Usage

I use Tweetdeck, not sure if I'm a heavy user or not, but it sure seems like this application has a memory issue, no?

Now, maybe my settings are wonky?

Max. number of updates per API call = 170
Max. number of updates in a column = 500

Any recommendations?

Scary People On Twitter

As a Conservative, I tend to run with a conservative crowd.  Be it on real life, blogs, IRC, Twitter etc.

However, with social media being what it is, and how close we all can be now - just a reminder that people are still scary.

I logged into Twitter on my phone and noticed someone had re-tweeted something I post a few times a month.  Note the date.

The other day, I see this:

 

NoMoreBo must have liked that tweet because he retweeted it...but removed my name from it so that it appeared to be his own.

I told him to knock it off. I drove to work and decided to look through his tweets, he had already deleted the stolen tweet, but hadn't said a word.

Once I was actually wading through his tweet history, scary stuff.

So, the next time you find yourself asking why Liberals think we're all racists, hate-filled morons, read his tweets.  It's because they concentrate on guys like him.

And, should I be scared that he thought so highly of my "coexist" point that he felt the need to plagiarize it?  I'm nothing like this nutjob.

Twitidiots

So, as of late I've been hanging out on Twitter. The comic community has a huge presence there and it's a great place to talk comics, read some insider news and just listen to some of the creators talk about their process.

However, sometimes celebrities get their stuff retweeted...and we all know celebrities are not known for their brilliant tweets. 

Obviously, celebrities are the touchstone by which all society is judged.  What they deem cool or awesome, or evil so goes the sheep.  (Where are all the war protests??)

They think they're amazing and insightful, especially musicians.  Idiots like the Kardashians and the Hiltons, who get paid to tweet (can you imagine?  what a fucked up society, no wonder Obama got elected...we are the American Idol version of a country). aren't nearly as inspired, savvy,. astute and adroit with their discriminating tastes.

And that's where I think I hit my mark.  I knew I was missing something vital.  I knew I hated this guy and his "band" more than the normal one hit wonders out there who marry other dim celebrities and named their children "Framer" or "StarMountain" or "Fluvium".

It's the fucking skinny jeans!  I seriously think a man walking around in those skinny jeans needs to be brought to a retraining facility and manned the fuck up.  Get a fucking haircut, too.

Maroon 5 and Adam Levine started that skinny jean shit and it hasn't gone away.
