Dust, How To Rid Your Phone Of It

Well, my htc Incredible had a dust under the screen problem, which some phones were suffering from.

Last time I took the dive and disassembled it so as to remove the dust.

Quite an adventure when you're holding a brand new, 36 day old, $500 device in your hand knowing that if you break it you bought it.  It's actually kind of easy to do.  Take off the battery case, remove the 4 screws (voiding the warranty), pry the 6 clips holding the unit onto the backing, unscrew the 2 screws holding the motherboard on, two more screws for the LCD unit and take it out.  Clean it off and put it back together again.

Good as new!
